CAM Meets is a lecture series that offers engaging presentations about art-making, art history, and other cultural topics for a broad audience. The CAM invites diverse local artists, historians, and museum professionals to explore art through different perspectives.

March 8 — Community Perspectives: Preserving Armenian Heritage with Dawn Sakalian
Description: Hear about what it's like to be involved in community folklife projects from Dawn Sakalian, museum volunteer and Assistant Project Director of Survive, Remember, Thrive: Armenian Traditions in Western New York. Learn about Armenian cultural heritage practiced in the area, how cultural traditions are passed down in her family, and conducting outreach and interviewing the Armenian community.
Preregistration is preferred although registration will be available at the beginning of this event. Please arrive 15 minutes before this event if you plan on registering at the door.
