CAM for Kids

Creative Programs for Young Artists

CAM for Kids offers hands-on, family-friendly programs that spark curiosity and foster a lifelong appreciation for art. Designed for children of all ages, these monthly experiences bring art to life through storytelling, film, and creative expression.

Art Express

Art Express is a storytelling-based workshop held at CAM in partnership with local libraries. Designed for children ages 5–12 and their caregivers, each session begins with a storytime connected to an art theme, followed by a fun, hands-on project led by a CAM teaching artist. It’s a great way to explore books and art together.

CAM Fam Movie Day

CAM Fam Movie Day is a family movie series held right inside the museum. Families are invited to enjoy kid-friendly films along with hands-on activities like art-making, scavenger hunts, and take-home projects. Each movie is chosen to spark creativity and connect with the artwork in our galleries. A relaxed and engaging way to enjoy art together.

Camp CAM

For more than 20 years, Camp CAM, formally known as Kids n’ Arts Camp,  has been a cherished part of the Castellani Art Museum—sparking creativity, confidence, and curiosity in generations of young artists. As we look ahead, we’ve made the thoughtful decision to pause Camp CAM so we can take time to reimagine and strengthen the program for the future.
