Programs for Students, Educators, and Lifelong Learners

The Castellani Art Museum offers a variety of programs that support learning at all levels—from K–12 classrooms to university courses and community-based projects. Whether you’re teaching, studying, or just curious, CAM is a resource for exploring art, culture, and creative thinking.

K–12 Educator Resources

CAM works with teachers to create engaging, standards-based learning experiences for students. Our educator programs include classroom-ready materials, guided tours, and hands-on activities that bring museum collections into your curriculum. We also offer professional development workshops throughout the year.

Niagara University Students & Faculty

Located on the Niagara University campus, CAM serves as a teaching and learning hub across disciplines. We offer course-aligned tours, class visits, and opportunities to integrate the museum into research, studio work, or campus events. Faculty are encouraged to collaborate with CAM staff to design custom learning experiences.

Art History & Museum Studies Program

CAM collaborates with Niagara University’s Art History with Museum Studies program to offer students real-world experience in a museum setting. Through tours, class projects, and direct access to collections and exhibitions, students explore the many ways museums preserve, interpret, and present art.

Student-Curated Exhibitions

Through partnerships with university programs, CAM provides students the chance to research, design, and install their own exhibitions. These experiences develop professional skills in curation, writing, and presentation, and are supported by museum mentors every step of the way.
