Welcome to Camp CAM, where artistic discovery ignites summer adventure! Young artists explore vibrant projects inspired by CAM's gallery masterpieces, guided by passionate teaching artists who bring creativity to life. Through hands-on exploration of diverse artistic techniques, campers develop their unique creative voices. In our theater program, campers become both playwrights and performers, collaborating to create original productions and confidence building theater games
Set within our inspiring museum spaces, each day brings fresh creative challenges. Whether your child aspires to visual arts or theater, Camp CAM provides the perfect environment for their artistic growth. Join us for a summer where imagination takes flight and every young artist thrives!
Camp runs for five weekly sessions from July 14 to August 15 with each session featuring a special theme. Scholarships are available based on need.

2025 Camp Dates
July 14 to August 15 on Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- WEEK 1 (July 14-18): "Out of the Box" - Step outside your comfort zone taking on “New Directions” in both art and theatre.
- WEEK 2 (July 21-25): "Worlds of Wonder" -Journey through fantastical realms while creating art inspired by myths and imagination.
- WEEK 3 (July 28-Aug 1): "Abstract Adventures” - Where bold colors dance, shapes sing, and creativity knows no bounds.
- WEEK 4 (Aug 4-8): "Artistic INKlinations" - Push artistic boundaries through interactive art and bold designs.
- WEEK 5 (Aug 11-15): "Cultural Tapestries" -Weaving creativity, culture, and community through the arts!

Registrations will open on April 7, 2025, for CAM Members and April 21, 2024 for the General Public. Become a CAM member here!
Camp Deposit
(Deposit must be made first before registration)
About Camp CAM
Ages: Camp is for children ages 5-12. Children must complete kindergarten to be eligible.
Cost: Registration fees are non-refundable and hold your child’s place in camp. Tuition refunds will be given for cancellations up to two weeks before camp begins. Tuition payment is encouraged in full at the time of registration. Final payments must be made one week before the start of the registered camp week.
Registration and payments must be completed online. Please note that there is a small service fee associated with purchase.
Registration Fee
- A $50 non-refundable deposit per child, per week is required. This registration fee is required for each child and each week of registration in order to hold the child’s place(s) at Camp.
- This fee is IN ADDITION to Tuition payment and not subject to 10% discount.
Tuition
- $280 per child for the first week, subsequent weeks $260 per child
- CAM members, NU Theatre season pass holders, NU faculty or staff can receive a 10% discount. Only one 10% discount may be applied.
- Registration payments are made via credit card through SimpleTix
- You will receive a link to pay for the registration payment after purchasing the deposit
Early Drop off/Late Pickup
- A $25 charge will be added for drop-offs before 8:40 and for pickups after 4:20. Latchkey service is not available.
Payment
- To secure your spot, you must first make a deposit. Upon paying the $50 deposit, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to pay the remaining tuition. The final tuition payment must be made one week before the start of the registered camp week.
Camp Scholarship
We believe in the power of creativity and self-expression and, recognize the profound impact it can have on a child's development, confidence, and future success. The Camp CAM Scholarship is a transformative opportunity that provides economically disadvantaged children with the chance to attend a remarkable arts-based summer camp.
If you know a child with an interest in the arts who may not have the means to participate in camp because of financial difficulties, we encourage you to nominate them or apply on their behalf. If you'd like to sponsor a child, please email ellenowens@niagara.edu.

Junior Counselor Application
Junior Counselors (ages 13-18 as of July 1, 2025) play a vital volunteer role at Camp CAM by supporting our art teachers, theatre teacher, and Camp Director throughout daily activities. JCs assist with project setup and cleanup, help supervise campers, and contribute to creating an engaging camp environment. This volunteer position offers valuable experience in arts education and leadership while allowing teens to serve as positive role models for younger campers.
